What You'll Do a s an IT Project Manager
- The Infrastructure Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of projects related to data center migrations, server upgrades, and cloud migrations.
- Manage all aspects of the project lifecycle, including scope definition, resource allocation, scheduling, risk management, and quality assurance.
- The Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure the successful delivery of the projects, meeting the established objectives and deadlines.
- Manage documentation for and present updates on Project Kick-off, Project Milestone Updates, and Project Closure to teams and stakeholders.
- Monitor workstream and program metrics to measure program success.
- Communicate effectively in both verbal and written.
- Effectively manage multiple priorities.
- Embrace PM methodologies.
You could be a great fit if you have:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, specifically in infrastructure projects related to data center migrations and cloud migrations.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure technologies, such as backup software, server upgrades, hardware, data centers, and cloud-based solutions (Azure).
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices, including project planning, risk management, and quality assurance.
- Strong experience within IT project delivery
- Experience structuring project plans and assigning resources and gathering work hours estimates
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide project teams to achieve project objectives.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects concurrently.
- PMP is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree required
