Job Title: IT Project Manager

Location: Remote (East Coast hours)

What You'll Do a s an IT Project Manager

  • The Infrastructure Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of projects related to data center migrations, server upgrades, and cloud migrations.
  • Manage all aspects of the project lifecycle, including scope definition, resource allocation, scheduling, risk management, and quality assurance.
  • The Project Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure the successful delivery of the projects, meeting the established objectives and deadlines.
  • Manage documentation for and present updates on Project Kick-off, Project Milestone Updates, and Project Closure to teams and stakeholders.
  • Monitor workstream and program metrics to measure program success.
  • Communicate effectively in both verbal and written.
  • Effectively manage multiple priorities.
  • Embrace PM methodologies.

Qualifications

You could be a great fit if you have:

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, specifically in infrastructure projects related to data center migrations and cloud migrations.
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure technologies, such as backup software, server upgrades, hardware, data centers, and cloud-based solutions (Azure).
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices, including project planning, risk management, and quality assurance.
  • Strong experience within IT project delivery
  • Experience structuring project plans and assigning resources and gathering work hours estimates
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and guide project teams to achieve project objectives.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • PMP is preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree required
