Description:

Business Initiative/Purpose: (Goal, Business Impact, Accomplishments from the work)

• Provide project management execution for large-scale, complex initiatives. Accountable for internal project process & governance adherence, establishing routines, and providing project status updates on a recurring basis. Responsible for driving initiatives to completion in partnership with the project leads. Follow established procedures, methods and practices and create new ones where appropriate. Possess technical skills (on Microsoft platforms) and strong written and verbal communication skills. Operates autonomously with a high degree of business acumen, knowledge of financial services as well as Agile methodology.


Bachelor Degree: (Required, Preferred or Not Required)

Role Responsibilities: (what they will be doing)

• Execute routine projects within general guidelines and instruction.

• Manage key project/initiative routines that will include executive management.

• Ensure initiatives are progressing at the necessary pace to be delivered on time and escalate concerns as the arise.

• Compose initiative status updates and function as the liaison between the business and the PMO.

• Interact with the business team, PMO and other stakeholders to address program status and resolve project risks.

• Interact with internal and/or external constituents to answer questions, research, and resolve problems that require in-depth knowledge of the project goals and objectives within scope of authority.

• May be required to manage project financials to ensure work remains within the budget.

• Prepare (key) correspondence, reports and forms.

• May provide workflow and problem-solving guidance to other project managers.

• Deal discreetly with confidential information.

• Can make recommendations to management based on findings.


Must Have Skills/Prior Experiences: (Vendor should not submit any candidate that does not have these skills/prior experience.)

• Bachelor's degree.

• Seven years of progressively more complex project management experience.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills (including strong knowledge of spelling and grammar), organizational skills, interpersonal skills, and math skills.

• Exhibited ability to work independently.

• Ability to deal with complex situations which require sound judgment.

• Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.


Plus/Nice to Have Skills/Prior Experiences: (Hiring Manager DOES NOT require these skills/ prior experience. However candidates with any of these will be looked at first.)

• Master's degree or PMP or other comparable certifications.

• Working knowledge of Rally, Clarity and SharePoint.

• Completion of certifications that are specific to industry.
