Payrhealth was recently acquired by Osceola Capital Management, a private equity firm planning to further invest in the capabilities and resources we offer.

Project Manager

The Project Manager, under the direction of the Consultant, is responsible for co-management of client accounts as a behind-the-scenes facilitator for performing a variety of administrative functions as needed. The Project Manager must maintain a positive and close working relationship with assigned Consultants, and have prompt, effective, and proactive communication with clients, payors, internally with MCC&S teammates, and with stakeholders in other Divisions. The Project Manager is responsible for coordinating, monitoring, and maintaining the contracting and credentialing process for clients, internally and externally, and for the coordination, collection, and communication of client information internally and externally. The Project Manager carries out all duties in compliance with all internal policies and applicable regulations, promoting the mission and philosophy of the organization, and fostering a professional, positive work environment.

Project Manager Responsibilities:

  • Maintains a client project tracker and consistently log tracker as updates are received.
  • Reviews client documents and gathers understanding of client service offering.
  • Manages payor outreach and follow up (i.e. request update on join network request, follow up on request to obtain current contracts and fee schedules).
  • Serves as the liaison with payors to ensure the appropriate information is submitted and status with payor is documented.
  • Independently researches payor processes and guidelines to assist with management of project goals.
  • Identify, grow, and maintain payor contacts and relationships.
  • Analyzes trending reports to identify outliers and areas of improvement.
  • Acts as a trainer and mentor to new Project Managers as requested.
  • Prepares and maintains throughout the client engagement presentation materials, project plans, data sharing files, data analysis projects.
  • Coordinate and facilitate credentialing submission and monitor and notify of progress.


Project Manager Requirements:

  1. Educational background in healthcare, project management, or data analysis a plus.
  2. Knowledge, experience and understanding of the healthcare industry preferred.
  3. Contracting or credentialing experience preferred.
  4. Strong customer service skills.
  5. Demonstrated ability to coordinate activities across functional areas.
  6. Sound personal management skills to plan, organize, schedule, and complete own work and work that is coordinated with others.
