Project Manager

Position Overview: This role involves overseeing key client implementation projects, acting as the primary bridge between clients and technology teams. The ideal candidate will have a creative approach to project management and a strong background in healthcare. They will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Experience in healthcare, particularly in virtual health/telehealth, is highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the main point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
• Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure flawless project execution.
• Guarantee that all projects meet deadlines, stay within budget, and adhere to the defined scope.
• Assist in defining project objectives and scope with input from all relevant stakeholders.
• Provide end-user training in clinical or hospital settings.
• Manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs using proper techniques.
• Use various tools to measure and report on project performance.
• Follow established escalation protocols.
• Implement risk management strategies to minimize potential project risks.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience in healthcare operations in clinical or hospital environments.
• Strong educational background, ideally in healthcare, computer science, or engineering.
• 2-5 years of experience in project management within Healthcare IT or Operations, especially in hospital systems.
• Technical proficiency, with an understanding or hands-on experience in software development, mobile applications, and web technologies.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, for client and internal interactions.
• Excellent organizational abilities, including attention to detail and multi-tasking.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Expertise in implementing virtual health or telehealth platforms.
• Knowledge of EMR integration or telehealth systems.
• Certification in Lean Six Sigma or PMP is advantageous, with a willingness to obtain within a year if not already certified.
