Project Manager (Health Care)
Looking for a senior PM contractor to support the project outlined below.
General responsibilities of PM: Responsible for planning, directing and coordinating / scheduling the appropriate life cycle phases for implementation and support for large or multiple small projects. Activities include coordinating resources, schedules, task assignments and often performs systems analysis. Serves as a primary contact with user groups and systems management. Familiar with Waterfall & Agile delivery methods. May also indirectly supervise staff. Optional technology experience.
- Responsible for managing a project involving the update of current claims system to most recent version, and migration to cloud.
- Target timeline for cutover is 1/1/25. The ideal candidate will be comfortable managing projects with tight timelines.
- It is also very important that they have experience managing vendor relationships. They will be working closely with the vendors for the old and new environments.
- This person should also be seasoned, and have some Agile experience.
- Jira is needed.
- The ideal candidate would also have experience with Healthcare claims and claims-based platforms.
- Skillsets to evaluate: Healthcare Claims, Cloud Migration, External Vendors
- **When submitting, please rate level of proficiency and years of experience with each of these items. If no experience in an area, select Beginner/ 1 yr. Please also address all of the preferred and required qualifications in the write-ups, with project examples where applicable.
- Fully remote is fine
- Needs someone senior enough to be able to jump in, be independent, and run with things. There is high level visibility on this project. Someone who will take initiative and raise a flag when they need help.
- Expecting 2 rounds of interviews - one with HM and a colleague, final with HM's leader
- Can start ASAP
- Please target conversion-eligible candidates (avoid Visas and CA) if possible.
