Main Purpose of Role: The Sentry is responsible for monitoring employee and contractor foot traffic at designated stations throughout the plant and ensuring that these stations are cleaned and sanitized according to approved procedures.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in 2-hour rotations throughout the shift to cover assigned sentry stations.
Clean and sanitize shoe scrubber stations.
Monitor Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) levels at sentry stations to ensure sufficient PPE availability for employees and contractors throughout the shift.
Maintain cleanliness of sentry stations, including mopping, disinfecting surfaces, trash disposal, and restocking soaps and paper towels.
Perform shift handoff audits with oncoming/offgoing teams to ensure station cleanliness.
Escort contractors from the security lobby to their destination within the facility, coordinating with Facility Contractor Coordinators.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Sentry Lead and/or Sentry Supervisor.
Keep cleaning supplies stocked, on-hand, and organized.
May be asked to work in other areas as needed, if trained.
Education And Experience
High school diploma or GED.
Previous cleaning experience and knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
