Property Manager

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of one 50+ unit property, including leasing, rent collection, and maintenance
• Conduct property inspections and ensure compliance with safety and health regulations
• Handle tenant inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely and professional manner
• Advertise and market available units to attract prospective tenants
• Screen potential tenants through background checks and credit evaluations
• Prepare and execute lease agreements and enforce lease terms
• Coordinate property maintenance and repairs, including scheduling contractors and ensuring timely completion
• Manage financial aspects of the properties, including budgeting, rent collection, and expense tracking
• Maintain accurate records of all property-related transactions
  
  

Experience:

• Previous experience in property management or a related field is preferred
• Proficient in data entry and file management
• Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable lease terms and vendor contracts
• Knowledge of Section 8 housing regulations is a plus
• Familiarity with property management software such as Appfolio is beneficial
• Excellent phone etiquette and customer relationship management skills
• Sales experience to effectively market available units and upsell additional services
