Prospect Research Analyst (REMOTE)

Summary Of Position

The Prospect Research Analyst ( PRA ) works independently on research and prospect identification projects, consults with several fundraising teams and individual development officers, and partners on other prospect management efforts. The PRA plays a direct role in the success of the University’s fundraising initiatives by identifying possible donors, estimating their giving potential, and supporting the strategic movement of prospects through the donor pipeline.

  • Bachelors Degree; 3 years of directly relevant experience

Additional Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of a broad range of research techniques, as well as familiarity with CRM /database systems.
  • Exemplary communication skills, including the ability to synthesize research details into clear and concise prose.
  • Excellent sense of organization with the ability to prioritize and manage simultaneous projects and deadlines.
  • Strong aptitude for logical thinking, problem solving and intellectual curiosity.
  • Sound judgement and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately and with discretion.
  • Tact, diplomacy, and the ability to work effectively with a variety of people.
  • High commitment to accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Solid interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively.
