Base pay range

$160,000.00/yr - $170,000.00/yr
Salary: $160k- $170k

Hours: 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

Location: In office , some regional travel. Uniondale, NY.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive external affairs strategies
  • Manage relationships with government officials, regulatory agencies, and industry associations
  • Advocate for organizational positions on public policy issues
  • Ensure compliance with lobbying laws and regulations
  • Serve as primary spokesperson for external affairs matters
  • Coordinate media relations and public appearances
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
  • Lead responses to internal and external audits
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and quality

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Political Science, Public Relations, or related field (JD preferred)
  • 4 - 6 years of experience in external affairs, government relations, public policy, or related, at least 2 - 4 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare industry and regulatory environment
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
  • Proven ability to develop and implement successful external affairs strategies
  • Experience in media relations and public speaking
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in social media and digital communication tools
