Description

We are looking for a diligent Purchaser to join our team in Hialeah, Florida. In this role, you will be responsible for managing customer orders, processing invoices, and negotiating payment terms with vendors. This role is crucial in maintaining our company's supply chain operations and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Enter customer orders into SAGE 100 and manage a work in progress report via excel spreadsheet data
• Create and issue purchase orders to vendors for fulfillment
• Submit quotes and negotiate payment terms, applying necessary discounts when applicable
• Process chargebacks for shortages and invoice for goods shipped
• Collect payment prior to shipment being released
• Manage all collections for vendors and customers
• Follow up on expected date of arrival for orders
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, vendor management, and customer invoices
• Handle commercial collections and enter vendor invoices accurately.

Requirements

• Demonstrable experience in entering, issuing, and preparing purchase orders.
• Proficiency in vendor management and inventory control.
• Experience with customer invoice processing and vendor invoice entry.
• Ability to manage and maintain relationships with vendors.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple orders and invoices simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills for effective vendor and customer interaction.
• Proficiency in using purchase order and invoicing software.
• Strong problem-solving skills to resolve any discrepancies or issues in purchase orders or invoices.
• Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order entries and invoices.
