Job Description

We are seeking an experienced QA Architect with a strong background in the Banking and Financial domain. The ideal candidate will have over 12 years of overall software testing experience, with a focus on test automation for small to large automation projects. The candidate must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in designing and developing test automation frameworks for various technological landscapes, including desktop, web, and mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop test automation frameworks for distributed applications, incorporating various test tools (Automation, Test Management, Continuous Integrations, etc.).
• Serve as a test automation architect, providing consulting services to deliver test automation solutions and advising on the right-fit test automation tool sets and design and implementation approaches.
• Work closely with business teams to identify requirements and build case studies/scenarios for the proposed test automation solution.
• Lead the implementation of the test plan/strategy, from establishing project requirements and goals to solution "go-live," steady state, and Center of Excellence (CoE).
• Participate in pre-sales activities, including direct communication with potential customers, processing Requests for Proposals (RFPs), developing proposals for implementation and design, presenting proposed solutions to customers, and engaging in meetings with customer representatives.
• Act as a career coach and mentor future leaders in the QA domain.
• Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends and best practices, including emerging ones such as cloud, mobile, big data, and IoT testing.
• Have hands-on experience authoring, building, and adopting large-scale, cross-functional automation frameworks with well-balanced coverage across UI, back-end integration, and database levels.
• Deeply understand different test automation approaches (Keyword-driven, Data-driven, BDD, hybrid).
• Work with various test automation tools such as UFT, TestComplete, Selenium, Serenity, TOSCA, Playwright, Ranorex, Appium, and mobile test automation tools.
• Work with various technology stacks (Java, .NET, AngularJS, ReactJS, Android, iOS).
• Utilize various programming languages such as Java, C#, JavaScript, Python.
• Work with traditional databases (e.g., Oracle, MS-SQL) and non-traditional databases (e.g., MongoDB, PostgreSQL).
• Use development tools such as JIRA, VSTS, Microsoft Test Manager, QAComplete, MicroFocus ALM.
• Develop custom test automation methodologies and adapt them to clients' technology and business requirements.
• Integrate test automation into the Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) process and instrument full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) automation, specifically cloud testing execution and reporting tools such as ALM, Jira.
• Improve processes and quality through test and process automation by defining the right strategy and technology based on process and architecture assessments, engaging different roles, and collaborating with stakeholders.
• Have experience with cutting-edge tools for Web, Mobile, Desktop, Database, and Web-service (API) testing, such as TestComplete, UFT, Ranorex, Selenium, Katalon, Appium, SoapUI, and others.
