Job Summary

We are seeking a Quality Automation Analyst for a development team that is incrementally replacing a legacy system. The Quality Automation Analyst will work with the rest of the QA team, take part in all testing activities related to the project. This includes performing system testing and integration testing, coordinating performance testing, and managing user acceptance testing by internal and external clients.

Job Description

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst to take part in all testing activities with the development team that is incrementally replacing a legacy system. This position will be full-time and hybrid in Newark, DE.

What You'll Do

  • Algin with project-specific QA processes to ensure control quality and provide consistency in the products that are created
  • Hands on Automation scripting and testing tools experience
  • Conduct testing activities that are 1) internal to the technical development team and 2) performed by external teams such as the performance testing group or the business users
  • Create and execute, and/or coordinate creation and execution, of manual test cases and scenarios
  • Create and support execution of User Acceptance Testing scenarios
  • Track and report test results
  • Track defects and defect remediation using Azure DevOps / VSTS
  • Escalate issues when appropriate
  • Provide support for creation and execution of automated test scripts including performance testing

What You'll Need

  • 5 or more years of experience as a QA Analyst in software product or custom software development
  • 3 or more years of experience creating, reviewing, and executing testing plans and manual test scripts
  • 2 or more years of experience using automated testing (unit, regression, and/or stress/performance)
  • Experience tracking defects in Azure DevOps / VSTS
  • Experience using cross-browser testing tools like BrowserStack is a plus
  • Strong QA planning and management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Physical Demands

  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
  • Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
  • Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor.
