Position Overview

QA Director will design, lead and maintain corporate quality processes and systems to ensure compliance at all levels of regulatory requirements. Successful QA Director candidate will lead all efforts in planning and executing effective quality compliance measures and promote a culture of quality in all departments of the company.

Responsibilities Of The QA Director

  • Initiate the design and execution of corporate QA policy, processes and best practices in compliance to regulatory requirements
  • Maintain and update corporate quality systems including regulatory changes
  • Ensure lab QC testing, production, internal & external inspections and audits fulfill regulatory guidelines
  • Manage QA staff and perform training and evaluation
  • Provide QA, safety and compliance training to all staff to ensure all standards are met
  • Perform QA evaluation, root cause analysis, deviation investigation, CAPA for labs and external vendors
  • Report to senior management on matters of QA updates, corporate compliance status and improvement measures for continuous compliance efforts
  • Participate in projects assigned

Qualifications For The QA Director

  • Certification in Quality Compliance desirable
  • Experience in GMP environments in cosmetics, personal care and consumer care industries
  • Experience in QA disciplines and quality system management
  • Experience in regulatory rules e.g. FDA, MoCRA
  • Supervisory/management experience in QA disciplines
  • Experience in overseeing projects, investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions
  • Experience in working with contract manufacturers and auditing
  • Computer/database skills e.g. Excel
  • Organized, detailed
  • Ability to work effectively with all functional groups

Education Requirements

  • Degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or related science/engineering disciplines is required
