Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent Minimum 2-year experience in manufacturing environment*Ability to accurately use measuring devices**Ability to document, record, and keep accurate test records***Ability to create and store records - (Document control)Ability to follow documented procedures and standards. Ability to read and interpret Engineering drawings containing GD&T and welding symbols for inspection of parts. Knowledge of welding steel products in accordance to D1.1-04 standard helpful. Ability to work independently and remain self-motivated with minimal direct supervision. Strong organizational skills and close attention to detail.

Physical Demands

Some physical exertion required Regularly required to sit, stand, walk and occasionally bend and move about the facility. Personal Protection Equipment

Safety Glasses required while performing specific tasks. Hearing protection required in designated areas. Work Environment

Works in an office and manufacturing environment. Exposed to dust, odors, fumes and noise.

MAJOR JOB FUNCTIONS

Inspect products using gauges, coordinate measure machine (FARO), scales prior to shipment.

Generate spreadsheets to collect and record data.

Reconcile final inspection documentation for shipments.

Interact with Government Source Inspector as needed.

Test incoming raw materials.
