The Senior BA/QA work with software developers and business customers to ensure that the business needs are met by the systems being built, changed, enhanced, or purchased.
Develops formal test plans and test cases.
This includes writing, maintaining, and executing functional, regression, and integration test scripts based on requirements documentation.
At times, may develop automation of test cases.
Identify procedures and scenarios for the quality control of products and services.
Process product reviews and inform the development team of defects and errors.
Communicate quantitative and qualitative findings from test results to the development team.
Creates, tracks, maintains, and verifies defects via a defect management system.
Ensure that the final product satisfies the product requirements and meets end-user expectations.
Utilizes the Following Testing Methods:
Exploratory.
Verification/Validation.
Regression.
Spot areas for improvement to enhance the product's efficiency.
Research the current market for similar products and compare results.
Participates in customer meetings as well as project team meetings.
Participates in project team meetings during multiple phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Communicates testing results to team members and stakeholders. Helps guide customers, maintain defect logs, and answer questions during User Acceptance Testing.
With minimal direction, selects and effectively uses tools that support test plans and test processes.
Performs all other duties as assigned.

3 years of demonstrated experience in providing QA testing for complex web solutions (websites) manual and automated.
2 years of demonstrated experience testing web solutions in an enterprise environment with external customers.
2 years of demonstrated experience testing web solutions in a Drupal 8/9/10 environment.
2 years of experience developing, updating, and executing automated test scripts.
2 years experience with Selenium testing tools.
2 years of manual regression testing experience.
2 years experience working with Jira and Confluence.

Agency-Specific Qualifications:
Minimum Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or information systems or proven equivalent work experience, AND three (3) years of systems analysis and/or business analysis experience, AND two (2) + years experience in documentation, quality assurance, integration, and user acceptance testing OR 4 years demonstrated experience as a hands-on QA specialist.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced level experience in software development methodologies, like Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
Experience working in state government.
