My client is a Worldwide Designer and Manufacturer of DC transformers and rectifiers. Their power conversion products and customer service are considered best in the industry and has led to the growth and development of the organization.

Job Description

The key responsibilities of the Quality Control Manager will be:

  • Quality Assurance Leadership:
    • Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures to ensure the highest standards of product quality.
    • Lead and manage the quality control team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Inspection and Testing:
    • Oversee the inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
    • Utilize various testing equipment and methodologies to assess product quality and performance.
  • Compliance and Standards:
    • Ensure that all products meet industry standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements.
    • Maintain and update quality documentation, including quality manuals, inspection reports, and standard operating procedures.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Identify areas for improvement in the production process and implement corrective actions to enhance product quality.
    • Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving activities to address quality issues and prevent recurrence.
  • Supplier Quality Management:
    • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the quality of incoming materials and components.
    • Conduct supplier audits and assessments to ensure adherence to quality standards.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Quality Control Manager will have:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the semiconductor industry.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory position
  • ISO 9001 experience required
  • Proven experience with quality inspection, auditing, and testing procedures.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
