Quality Engineer Analyst III

Job Summary

We are looking for a Quality Engineer Analyst III for a long term contract opportunity for client of ours in San Antonio, TX.

Qualifications We Are Seeking Are As Followings

• A strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
• strong self-starter and independent worker
• Experience with API, Cucumber BDD, and/or other automation tools
• Test Management skills and strong knowledge in manual testing processes
• Experience working with automation and providing support to automation peers
• Understanding of testing standards and expectations
• strong experience working in agile teams
• Banking domain experience in payments, transfers, and/or loan processing
• Has experience providing support and guidance to less experience QEs
• Will represent QE and assist in ensuring QE processes are followed
• Softskills - teamwork, problem solving, communication, adaptability, critical thinking, time management, interpersonal

Responsibilities

• Define testing plans, identify gaps in requirements, and propose testing hypotheses for complex program/system changes
• Use your strong problem-solving skills to ensure that the systems are performing optimally and meet our high standards.
• Perform a risk assessment on programs/system changes to prioritize related programs/systems on which to run batch testing
• Write functional test cases, automation test scripts along with preparation of required test data
• Execute tests and validate results to determine which issues need to be addressed by the development team
• Communicate how and why issues need to be fixed, and coordinate across multiple development teams to fix complex issues

• Experience level: Experienced
• Minimum 5 years of experience
• Education: Bachelors

• Quality (5 years of experience is required)
• Manual QA Testing (5 years of experience is required)
• Agile (5 years of experience is required)
• Postman (1 year of experience is required)
