Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelors or Master's degree
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office; particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with (one of): Air Vehicle and Mission Systems components & services, airframe built to print components, Operational / Quality experience on a LM platform (F-35, F-22, C-130, etc), flight-line or sustainment service support, supply chain and/or program management.
  • Must be a self-starter with a proven track record of success working independently and in a team environment

Quality Engineer

Lockheed Martin Aeronautics in Fort Worth, Texas is seeking a full-time Supplier Quality Analyst. In this role, you will be part of the LM Aero Supplier Quality Management (SQM) team, within the Quality & Mission Success (Q&MS) organization, and will be responsible for supply chain sourced product & service quality.

The selected Quality Analyst for this role will report to the SQM Operational Management team which functions as the integration and resolution point between SQM fielded personnel, suppliers & government providers, functional stakeholders (ex: supply chain, operations, quality, engineering, and/or program management) and customers (Program Office, DCMA, Owning Units).

This Position Will Utilize SQM’s Quality Management System (QMS) To Ensure Quality At The Source, Material Availability, And Limited Disruptions To Internal And External Customers. Scope Of Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Creating, coordinating, updating, training, and approving QMS command media and related processes
  • Administering QMS systems and tools to enable automated execution of tasks (familiarization of supplier disclosures)
  • Investigating, containing, and performing root-cause and corrective action for process deficiencies in SQM’s
  • Gathering, analyzing, and reporting performance management metrics and indicators

The successful candidate will have experience and/or knowledge of quality management systems and their various tasks across value stream operations, and ability to interpret contractual and technical data to troubleshoot technical issues and implement solutions.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate:

The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Washington or Washington DC is $64,400 - $123,400 . Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.

Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
