Seeking an Information Security Engineer with a minimum of 4 years of information systems experience, specializing in Threat and Vulnerability Management (TVM) with Rapid 7 expertise and at least one relevant Information Security certification. The role involves technical process improvement, threat identification and resolution, along with effective communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications
Minimum of 4 years of information systems experience
Hands-on Threat and Vulnerability Management experience
Rapid 7 expertise, including IVM tool set-up, administration, and reporting
Experience with credential and agent-based scanning
Possession of at least one Information Security certification (CompTIA, Security+, CISSP, EnCE, etc.)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to drive change and apply technology solutions to business challenges
Responsibilities
Define, drive, and enhance technical processes
Author and review vulnerability reports and threat advisories
Coordinate regular meetings related to services and IT infrastructure
Allocate resources effectively to meet changing priorities
Utilize technical expertise to resolve complex customer issues
Proactively analyze information and propose solutions to enhance service
Develop and maintain relationships with senior-level stakeholders
Manage risks related to technical skills and resource availability
Additional Responsibilities
Identify and address security vulnerabilities
Research and develop detection methods for new attack vectors
Document and update scanning solutions as needed
Support Security Operations and IT teams in deploying scanning solutions
Demonstrate customer-centricity by prioritizing customer satisfaction
Engage in continuous process improvement and documentation
Note
Travel requirement of 5%, with potential for more based on business needs
Familiarity with medical diagnostics preferred
