Our client has put $7B to work in projects funded by Historic Tax Credits (HTC's) since its founding 40 years ago. It is a nationally recognized impact platform with a smart, vibrant, Charlotte-based team.
We are helping them hire a Real Estate Underwriter to underwrite historic rehab projects, assessing returns, risks and overall attractiveness of each opportunity. If the client issues a term sheet, this person will coordinate due diligence, analyze results, identify risks and mitigants, and coordinate the closing.
The ideal candidate possesses 3+ years of experience in HTC and/or LIHTC underwriting. They must have excellent time management, organization, writing and Excel skills. They must also be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have a strong work ethic.
This is a hybrid role, with the expectation that the candidate will be in the Charlotte office at least 2-3 days per week.
