The Spa Receptionist is responsible for providing professional and courteous service to each and every guest. They will be responsible for exceeding guest expectations through positive interactive skills.


  • Responsible for maintaining the Wynn and Forbes standards of service to guests and coworkers at all times.
  • Knows and adheres to Wynn and department policies and procedures, embrace company and department culture and take pride in the resort and amenities.
  • Understands and well versed in the resort, hotel features and services including all outlets, hours of operation, activities and events available to guests.
  • Ensures the Wynn standards of cleanliness and appearance for all areas.
  • Works with safety as a priority, and follows department and company safety standards.
  • Reports accidents, injuries and lost and found items immediately in compliance with company and department policies
  • Awareness of guest experience at all times, smiles and makes eye contact, communicates professionally
  • Provide accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to guest requests, ensuring complete guest satisfaction while anticipating their needs.
  • Empowered to assist in guest recovery situations to ensure a flawless execution of guest service and communicates with leadership team as needed.
  • Maintains an alert and welcoming posture while acknowledging all guests with enthusiasm and professionalism while providing the highest level of guest service
  • Effectively communicates with peers and leadership team and ensures all pertinent information is shared.
  • Accurately assist guests with check-in for spa reservations and spa access.
  • Accurately schedule spa appointments via telephone reservation or in person. Is knowledgeable on all spa treatments and salon services offered and can actively suggest services to maintain sales while following Forbes standards.
  • Accurately receive payment of services to department standards and properly account for all transactions and monies.
  • Reconcile daily sales, deposits and invoices as outlined in department policy.
  • Looks for opportunities to assist peers, guests, other departments or leaders at all times.
  • Solution oriented, avoiding conflict and gossip, stays on task and promotes teamwork.
  • Attends required meetings and/or training classes and incorporates new standards, service knowledge and safety into daily work practices.
  • Keep all areas of the spa including storage areas, back of house, staff break room and dispensary clean and organized while following safety guidelines
  • Ensures product and supply inventories are replenished and maintained daily.
  • Ensure all maintenance and equipment challenges are reported in a timely fashion to spa leadership team
  • Able to assist in the fitness area by ensuring equipment is maintained and being available for guests
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Experience in a demanding high volume luxury Spa/Salon environment or luxury hotel/resort front desk experience is preferred.
  • Must possess outstanding customer service, organizational, interpersonal, and administrative skills as well as excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
  • Must be solution oriented and the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Previous cash handling experience is preferred, but not required.
  • Candidate must be able to work efficiently within a team environment and individually.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must have an open mind and willingness to learn new processes, concepts and ways of approaching guest and coworkers.
  • Must be open to coaching and feedback.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills and phone etiquette.
  • Candidate must be well groomed and professional.
  • Must be able to communicate English with guests, management, and other associates to their understanding. Additional foreign language a plus
  • Must be available to work all shifts and days including opening and closing shifts.
  • Will be required to adjust schedule based on business demands.
  • Requires proficiency in Microsoft Office specifically Outlook, Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Prior knowledge of the following systems is preferred: SpaSoft, HotSOS and Opera.
  • Willingness to maintain the highest level of confidentiality regarding guests and staff.
  • Combination of education equivalent to graduation from high school (High school diploma) or any other combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain any licensing or active work cards required, at present or in the future, for this position at all times
