CareerDean is looking for a motivated and driven individual to join our team. The role is best suited for an independent self-starter with a high level of drive, great relationship-building and leadership skills, and the ability to function confidently and professionally within a sales environment.
As a Recruiter, you will be responsible for managing the complete recruitment life cycle: business development, bringing on board new clients, sourcing candidates, interview and select qualified candidates for our clients, and finding opportunities for candidates across multiple roles.
In this role, you will be working with clients and candidates in various industries: Skilled Trades, Construction, Telecommunications, Manufacturing, Supply Chain & Logistics.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Identify opportunities:
- Research prospective clients, create outreach strategies, conduct exploratory conversations with potential clients, and use your business acumen to identify how CareerDean could help them with their recruitment efforts.
- Conduct high volume prospecting through phone calls and emails to expand client base.
- Partner with clients to understand their hiring and workforce needs.
- Negotiation of rates, fees, and agreements.
- Develop strategies to grow business inside of existing client portfolios while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Gaining a strong awareness of the vertical market you are working on and building a network to generate leads, references, and referrals.
Talent acquisition:
- Sourcing candidates through cold calling, internet posting and search, networking, and referrals
- Ability to manage the first hiring stages (job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing)
- Identify qualified candidates through various recruiting and sourcing tools
- Review resumes to understand candidate experience, knowledge, certifications, etc. to quickly identify individuals for current and potential clients.
- Assess candidates to ensure qualification match, cultural fit, and compatibility
- Present shortlisted candidates and provide detailed profile summaries
- Coach and mentor candidates in preparation for interviews by outlining roles, responsibilities, and expectations
- Negotiating, influencing, and persuading where appropriate to achieve the best outcome.
- Offer guidance and facilitate the negotiation process through to its completion
- Feedback management and post-placement follow ups.
- Create talent pipelines with high-potential candidates for future job opportunities.
What You Need for this Position
- A desire to win - have an insatiable thirst to be successful
- Must have agency recruiting experience or cold calling business development experience
- Deep understanding of the recruitment processes
- Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS), recruiting software, and candidate databases
- Excellent verbal and written communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced competitive sales environment
- Desire to grow the business and manage portfolios
- Sales and money-motivated individual
- Bachelor's Degree is preferred (not required)
