Job Summary

The Recruiting Coordinator supports talent acquisition success throughout the organization. Responsibilities include posting open positions to job boards, conducting phone screens, scheduling candidate interviews and handling last-minute scheduling changes, creating offer letters, and smoothing over any speed bumps in the hiring process, with the goal of always providing top notch internal and external customer service.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs.
  • Review, format, and post job openings on online job boards; manage the filing of company job descriptions.
  • Screen resumes and conduct phone screens where appropriate.
  • Correspond with candidates, schedule interviews, and follow up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback regarding recruiting process.
  • Collaborate with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
  • Draft/ deliver employment offers for both exempt and nonexempt position openings.
  • Manage internal transfer process, including screening, coordination of interviews with hiring manager, transfer paperwork, etc.
  • Use traditional and nontraditional resources, such as online job board sites, career fairs, online job fairs, community network events, etc., to identify and attract quality candidates.
  • Develop and maintain an excellent relationship with internal and external clients to ensure achievement of staffing goals.
  • Work with hiring managers to ensure compliance with all federal/state laws and regulations, including affirmative action plan compliance.
  • Maintain all pertinent applicant and interview data.
  • Other ad hoc hiring and People Team projects as needed.

Skills/Knowledge/Experience Required

  • Experience with recruiting; one to two years of Human Resources corporate recruiting experience preferred.
  • Proven candidate sourcing and relationship building skills.
  • Familiarity with ADP HRIS and ADP Applicant Tracking System is preferred.
  • Proficient in using online job board sites such as LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Indeed, etc.
  • Skills in database management and record keeping.
  • Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources work.
  • Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment.
  • Fluid interpersonal skills to interact effectively with a wide range of customers, vendors, personnel, and departments.
  • Ability to see the big picture and integrate into day-to-day tasks and activities.
  • Excellent and effective oral and written communication.
  • Prior experience successfully managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Demonstrated commitment to professionalism, integrity, and sound judgment in business transactions, and to providing the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Pay Range: $62k - 75k

The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be dependent on several factors including, but not limited to, experience, education, and specific licensing or qualifications.
