Director of Sales and Operations - Aguas Frescas DSD at Sunny Sky Products

Responsibilities

  • Expand existing distributor customer base
  • Through business analytics and networking, identify and open new markets and business opportunities
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand the Aguas Frescas distribution network.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key decision-makers to drive product placement and availability.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of DSD sales representatives to ensure they are equipped with the necessary tools and support to achieve their goals.
  • Collaborate with Sunny Sky marketing team to develop localized marketing campaigns and promotional strategies.
  • Monitor and manage regional budgets, expenses, and profitability to ensure financial objectives are met.
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and competitive activities to senior management.

Required Skills/Abilities/Education

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Bi-lingual - Spanish/English Required
  • Proficient with CRM system - Salesforce
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in sales management, preferably in the beverage or foodservice industry.
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing sales strategies that resulted in business growth.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in managing and developing teams.
  • Excellent analytical abilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Travel within the assigned region as needed.
