Base pay range

$125,000.00/yr - $165,000.00/yr
Job Summary:

The Regional Director of HTM Services manages ongoing operations activities for assigned HTM sites

within their region productively and efficiently. Oversees Clinical Engineering Directors and Lead

Clinical Engineers and provides secondary support in the onsite installation, troubleshooting,

maintenance, and repair of clinical equipment for assigned HTM sites.

Essentials Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develops plans for SPBS HTM operations strategy, budget spending and human capital


utilization in a post-implementation environment.

  • Assist in the budgeting process, revising budgets as needed in conjunction with the Managing


Director of HTM Service Operations, CFO, and CEO, and developing/presenting solution options

to the executive team.

  • Recommends regional objectives for assigned HTM sites and develops both short and long-term


plans with supporting budget requests and financial estimates.

  • Reviews SPBS cost control reports, cost estimates, and manpower/facility requirement forecasts.
  • Collaborates and cooperates with operations management and other departments in establishing


and carrying out responsibilities.

  • Meet with all SPBS client managers and stakeholders on a monthly/quarterly basis to discuss


their HTM site financial performance.

Management Responsibilities:

  • Transitions ongoing oversight and management of HTM Service Operations post-implementation.
  • Partners with HTM team to strategize and execute ongoing operations for assigned HTM sites.
  • Manages HTM performance against plan for each HTM site. Provides feedback to HTM Team


on results and changes in direction of plan.

  • Establishes annually specific objectives/goals for HTM site employees.
  • Selects and maintains quality talent for each HTM site; participates in the interview process and


partners with HR to determine salary restraints against budget.

  • Provides HTM site teams with ongoing informal feedback on performance and formally appraises


performance on an annual basis.

  • Identifies training needs for HTM site teams and works with HR to develop group/individual


training plans.

  • Maintains appropriate communications throughout the company.
  • Keeps direct reports informed as to the company’s overall plans and progress.
  • Seeks agreement with company leaders to solve problems and resolve issues where there is


mutual ownership of the problems and/or issues.

  • Influences and supports policy and procedure for operational success.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures as well as government regulations.


South Plains Biomedical & Imaging

  • Reviews, revises and submits budget proposals from HTM site team to Managing Director of


HTM Service Operations and the CEO. Authority to approve budget expenses within established

approval limits.

  • Ensures that new and transitioning HTM staff are properly oriented, and all members are trained


to optimize their individual potential.

  • Responsible for effectively communicating defined objectives to the regional team and ensuring


clarity regarding their duties, responsibilities, authority, and accountability

  • Assumes other duties and responsibilities as directed by the Managing Director of HTM Service


Operations or the CEO.

Experience & Educational Requirements:

  • 10 + years of biomedical technician experience a plus
  • 5-10 years of department-level management experience
  • 5 + years of HTM operations management experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering or related field; or related training (DoD, etc.)
  • CBET or CHTM certification a plus

Business Environment and Travel Requirements:

This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as desktop/laptop computers and smartphones.

Travel may be required for this position including local, out-of-area, out-of-state, and overnight.
