Regional GM - Eastern US

JD Logistics is seeking a highly experienced Regional General Manager to lead and oversee operations in the Eastern U.S. region. This role is critical for driving the growth, profitability, and overall success of the region. As the P&L owner, the Regional GM will be responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives, managing day-to-day operations, and ensuring the region’s financial and operational targets are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• P&L Ownership: Take full responsibility for the region’s profit and loss, ensuring financial targets are achieved or exceeded.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee all regional operations, including transportation, warehousing, and last-mile delivery, ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and high service quality.
• Team Leadership: Lead, develop, and motivate a diverse team, fostering a culture of performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Market Expansion: Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities to expand JD Logistics’ presence in the region, building relationships with key customers and partners.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage the regional budget, optimizing resource allocation and ensuring cost efficiency.
• Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies and standards.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 10+ years of senior leadership experience in logistics, supply chain management, or related fields, with a strong track record of P&L management.
• Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of logistics and supply chain operations, particularly in the Eastern U.S. market.
• Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead large, diverse teams and drive strategic initiatives in a dynamic environment.
• Business Acumen: Strong financial management skills, with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and driving profitability.
• Customer Focus: Commitment to delivering high-quality customer service and building strong client relationships.
• Mandarin speaking is a highly preferred skill to communicate with functional team based in HQ.
