Scope of Responsibilities Oversees the day-to-day operations of assigned pharmacy departments. Responsible for training and development of staff, estimating personnel needs, assigning work, meeting deadlines, and interpreting and ensuring consistent application of organizational policies.

Job Summary Responsible for the supervision and management of the sales, administrative, operational, clinical and profit/loss aspects of the pharmacy departments.
- Extensive store travel is required*
- Interface with Regional Operations Manager to ensure that each store exhibits overall store unity, teamwork, and a favorable working environment
- Ensure corporate policies are adhered to in all areas of assigned pharmacy departments
- To participate in a comprehensive Regional Management team structure
- Effectively manage all aspects of assigned pharmacy departments including sales, payroll, budget and inventory management
- Coordinate with human resources and the store management team to maintain staffing levels which provide effective customer care while maintaining efficiency.
- Focus on the development of management personnel to enhance performance and identify high potential candidates for future growth opportunities.
- Coordinate the performance review process for all pharmacy employees
- Coordinate the implementation of pharmacy programs and procedures to improve productivity, profitability, and image of prescription departments.
- Follow established channels of authority and communications throughout all levels of the organizations to keep employees informed of all matters that would concern them or for which they are responsible.
- Develop and prepare operational budgets and financial plans.
- Delegate authority and responsibility to subordinates in accordance with Company policies and procedures and require adequate reports from subordinates to control the execution of those delegated responsibilities.
- Maintain thorough and appropriate documentation and records regarding sales, administrative, operational, and clinical activities of the assigned pharmacy departments.
- Evaluate performance of job duties and coach or redirect each employee.
- Participate in the annual budgetary planning process; establish plans designed to support the growth of our organization and our ESOP.
- Ensure that store teams are responsive to customers in a timely and appropriate fashion.
- Interface with various auditors and outside agencies as needed.
- Interface with various administrative departments to assist in the effective development, communication, and execution of programs, initiatives, and operational tasks as assigned. Assist with the assessment, evaluation and implementation of technologies needed to maximize efficiencies within supervised departments.
- Routine communication and collaboration with other leaders in the organization on behalf of store operations.
- Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programs.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Minimum BA in Business/Management or BS/Pharm D. in Pharmacy
- Combined experience of 3-5 years in Pharmacy Management
- Drug Test
- Criminal background check
- Initial and continuous exclusion and sanction/disciplinary monitoring
$152,440-$157,000 annually
