Job Summary

We're looking for someone with 5+ years of experience as a Regional Sales Director to manage and grow our hospitality sales channel in the northeastern United States and eastern Canada. This role involves high-level relationship building with owners and brands and managing territory-based representatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in national/semi-national sales management and a strong background in the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

  • Grow and manage the hospitality sales channel in the northeastern United States and eastern Canada
  • Assist independent representatives with closing sales, account strategies, territory planning, and administrative responsibilities
  • Develop and increase sales revenue to meet assigned targets through presentations, closing sales, and developing marketing plans
  • Plan and participate in sales exhibits, trade shows, and training conferences
  • Coordinate and lead sales meetings, including site selection and agenda preparation

Qualifications

  • Excellent formal presentation skills for both small and large groups
  • Ability to manage large territories and diverse product offerings
  • Coaching/mentoring experience with less senior sales staff
  • Hands-on knowledge of company’s needs and capabilities.
  • Ability to keep abreast of new design and technology trends, association needs, and real-world applications
