Regional Sales Manager

Report to: Director of Sales, North America

Responsibilities:

● Team Management: Lead a sales team of direct employees and manufacturer's representatives, identifying business development and training needs.

● Strategy Implementation: Develop and execute strategies to meet sales and profit targets.

● Relationship Building: Establish and maintain relationships with key accounts.

● Market Analysis: Conduct product, market, and customer analyses to guide market share growth.

● Industry Engagement: Participate in trade shows, conferences, product seminars, and other industry events.

● Customer Database Management: Develop and maintain a relevant customer contact database.

● Marketing Program Execution: Ensure proper implementation of marketing programs, product promotions, and new product launches.

● Reporting: Provide monthly and ad hoc reports on region results, action plans, product/application development opportunities, competitive landscape, and other relevant information.

● Software Utilization: Fully utilize company software tools (SAP/SAC, C4C, Webi, Microsoft programs, etc.) in line with company guidelines.

● Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

● Experience: Minimum of five years in sales management and sales experience in electrical utility and industrial markets.

● Knowledge: Familiarity with electrical test equipment.

● Education: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) preferred.

● Travel: Ability to travel 50% of working time, primarily within the US with occasional international travel.

● Location: Must reside near a major airport; preference for candidates in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

● Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical subjects.

● Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

● CRM Software: Familiarity with CRM software.

● SAP/SAC: Experience with SAP/SAC is a plus.
