We are looking for a Regional Sales Manager to join our team, focusing on our product lines in Texas. This home-based role will require extensive travel throughout the assigned territory, which may change over time.
As a Regional Sales Manager, you will play a key role in our company’s success by developing leads, nurturing customer relationships, collaborating with sales agents, and closing deals to achieve sales goals. We seek someone with a positive, proactive approach who brings a blend of technical knowledge, sales expertise, and strong interpersonal skills. You will excel in a team-based selling environment and have a solution-oriented mindset when addressing customer needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and sell our range of equipment, products, services, and consumables.
- Build, develop, and maintain a robust distributor network within the territory.
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Develop, maintain, and execute a Regional Account Plan to meet or exceed sales goals.
- Manage channel development activities and coordinate sales distribution by setting territories, quotas, and goals for OEMs, dealers, and representatives.
- Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedules.
- Work closely with customers to ensure all objectives are met, fostering satisfaction and loyalty.
- Prepare and submit expense reports promptly.
- Ensure timely, complete, and accurate CRM data entry and reporting on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
- Stay updated with our product offerings, price lists, and industry trends.
- Maintain proficiency in relevant software tools (e.g., Microsoft 365, Concur, HubSpot).
- Collaborate with the sales team and management to set and execute regional sales goals.
- Support distributor sales personnel by sharing best practices and sales techniques.
- Conduct monthly and quarterly business reviews with distributor leadership.
- Educate distributors through strategy presentations, training sessions, and regular meetings.
- Attend training sessions and company meetings as needed.
- Travel up to 75% to engage with customers and partners.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in packaging and/or industrial manufacturing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite.
- Experience with HubSpot or similar CRM tools.
- Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Convenient access to airports and major roadways within the territory.
