Summary: The Registered Pharmacist (RPh) is responsible for the safe and efficient dispensing of prescription medications, providing patient counseling, and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
Counsel patients on the use, dosage, and potential side effects of medications.
Review prescriptions to ensure they are appropriate for the patient and check for potential drug interactions.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff.
Ensure compliance with all state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations.
Provide immunizations and other health screenings as permitted by law.
Qualifications
Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited school of pharmacy.
Valid state pharmacist license.
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
