Roles And Responsibilities
- Compliance Program Development:
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive compliance programs and policies tailored to our industry and regulatory environment.
- Conduct regular compliance risk assessments and audits to identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability.
- Regulatory Monitoring and Reporting:
- Monitor changes in regulatory requirements and industry standards that affect our operations.
- Prepare and submit regulatory reports and filings as required by applicable laws and regulations.
- Training and Education:
- Develop and deliver compliance training programs and materials for employees to raise awareness of compliance issues and promote a culture of compliance throughout the organization.
- Internal Investigations and Remediation:
- Conduct internal investigations in response to compliance concerns, incidents, or allegations.
- Recommend and implement corrective actions and follow-up measures to address identified compliance deficiencies.
- External Engagement and Liaison:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies, auditors, and external stakeholders on compliance matters.
- Coordinate and manage external audits and regulatory inspections.
- Policy and Procedure Management:
- Review and update existing compliance policies and procedures to ensure alignment with current regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Develop new policies and procedures as needed to address emerging compliance issues.
- Risk Assessment and Management:
- Assess the company's operational activities and business practices to identify potential compliance risks.
- Work with management and departments to implement risk mitigation strategies and controls.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Compliance, or a related field; advanced degree or certification (e.g., Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional - CCEP) is a plus.
- X+ years of experience in regulatory compliance, preferably in [industry or sector].
- In-depth knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and standards applicable to our industry (e.g., [list specific regulations]).
- Proven experience in developing and implementing compliance programs and conducting compliance audits.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
