Job Title: Audit Senior

Location: Offices in Montgomery, Wetumpka, and Auburn - Remote opportunity

Compensation: $80k - $95k based on experience

Requirement: 3+ years of Public Accounting Experience - CPA license preferred

Specialties: Construction, EBPs, Nonprofit, various Commercial industries

Position Overview

We are recognized as one of the oldest and longest-standing CPA firms in AL with 4 offices and 80+ employees handling Tax, Audit, CAS, and Advisory for clients across major verticals like Construction, EBPs, Nonprofit, and Manufacturing & Distribution, to name a few. Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute audits in accordance with professional standards and client requirements
• Supervise and mentor a team of audit associates in completing audit fieldwork and reviewing work papers
• Provide timely and accurate communication to clients regarding audit findings and recommendations for improvement
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their business operations and provide exceptional client service
• Perform technical research and keep up to date with industry developments and regulatory requirements
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• CPA preferred or equivalent certification
• 3+ years of experience in construction audits, employee benefits plan (EBP) audits and/or senior audit associate experience
• Strong knowledge of audit and accounting principles and practices
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and Word
