Position Title: VMix Graphics Operator (freelance)
Position Type: Contract/Freelance, Remote
The Disc Golf Pro Tour (DGPT) is seeking an experienced media member to produce graphics for live broadcasts for the Disc Golf Network.
The DGPT is an organization dedicated to the promotion and growth of professional disc golf through the administration of our Tour, a series of elite disc golf tournaments across North America. We focus on teamwork, innovation, and collaboration to achieve our goals and look forward to hiring a media professional that shares our passion for the sport of disc golf to help grow our organization and the game.
Responsible for: Graphics during the live broadcasts
Position Responsibilities
- Responsible for adding and removing Graphics, such as player bugs, hole graphics, scorecards, leaderboards, etc, during live broadcasts
- Building stat graphics using DGPT system
- Adding lower third advertisements to the broadcast
- Work with Producer on what graphics to use to tell the story
- Background in broadcasting preferred. Some experience in a control room environment.
- Basic understanding of how to execute a multi-faceted live broadcast.
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast paced, high pressure environment
- Disc Golf Knowledge
- VMix Experience(Not Required)
- Personal Computer with at least 2 monitors(one 4k preferred)
- Stable, reliable, internet connection(Speeds 10Mbps/download, 5Mbps/Upload)
- Ability to work long hours during broadcast days - will probably be 12 hour days at a minimum
- Aptitude and desire to learn new skills.
- Willingness to be a team player and complete other tasks as necessary
- A part time position beginning with the start of the season in February, on an at-need basis.
- $250/day
Hiring Date: As Needed
Projected Start Date: All Star Weekend (February 16th-18th)
