Job Description:
GemFind Digital Solutions is seeking a talented and experienced Remote Website Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating client website development projects on the Shopify platform. You will work closely with clients, as well as our design, development, digital marketing, and data teams to ensure successful project execution. This role requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to work proactively in an agile and remote work environment.
Responsibilities:
Project Planning and Execution:
Review and understand project scopes, considering financial, resource, and technological constraints.
Create and execute project work plans, and adjust as needed.
Collaborate with design and development teams to create wireframes, sitemaps, and define project scopes.
Communicate project objectives and criteria to teams, ensuring client expectations are met and project scope remains intact.
Identify necessary resources, assign tasks and responsibilities, and ensure project completion within schedule and budget.
Review and approve deliverables prepared by the team before client review.
Apply our methodology and enforce project standards effectively.
Ensure project documents are complete, current, and properly stored.
Identify and manage project risks.
Client Collaboration:
Maintain regular communication with clients to understand their needs, provide updates, and address any concerns.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring a positive and professional client experience.
Proactively manage client expectations and address any issues that may arise.
Requirements:
Proficiency in Shopify, with a strong understanding of its features and functionality.
Proven ability to successfully prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Substantial experience in a client-facing role, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in fluent English.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Project management experience is essential, with PMP or CAPM certification being a plus.
Familiarity with project management software and applications such as Teamwork, Basecamp, Google Suite, etc.
Good eye for design and a strong understanding of website strategy and quality standards.
Previous experience in a digital agency environment is preferred.
Demonstrates a great work ethic, is a team player, and maintains a positive attitude.
Knowledge and experience with large product data management.
Helpful to have experience with API and POS integration.
