Position: Reporting Analyst
Location: 100% Remote Role
Duration: Contract, Long Term
Job Summary
As a Reporting Analyst, you will collect, analyze, and layer internal business intelligence to meet the firm’s information and reporting needs. Produce high-quality analytical products for internal staff, senior leaders, and business decision-makers. Analyze and process data, build report templates, and develop data-driven solutions. Maintain responsibility for producing a series of monthly metrics, reports, or analyses using internal business intelligence, including proposal and contract activity, field ad hoc requests from internal customers for both standardized or canned and customized reports and data exports, and conduct regular reviews of the quality and integrity of leveraged data. Conduct data clean-up efforts and recommend data collection improvements. Support the development of new analytical products, suggest improvements for current products, develop comprehension of internal sources of data, including data collection methods and systems and available reporting tools, and build internal relationships with key data providers and data or report consumers. This position is open to remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., to include the District of Columbia.
Must Have
Required Education Level: Bachelors
Required Degree: Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or equivalent
Required Experience (Years): 5
Substitution Criteria: 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education
Description: A Senior Applications/System Analyst must have extensive IT experience in the analysis, design, and integration of information systems and commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) and development software. Must be well versed in understanding structured analysis and design methodologies for the translation of systems requirements from business needs with a proven track record. Must be able to evaluate cost factors and risk.

Must Have
- 5+ years of experience in a research or analysis role
- 5+ years Agile experience
- Experience with Power BI
- Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of research methods and concepts
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and collaborative team environment and provide excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or technical equivalent and 5 years of relevant experience or a total of 13 years in lieu of education
