About the Position: The Research Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the Analytics team by extracting, cleaning, organizing, and analyzing data for a variety of projects and reports. This position is responsible for developing ad hoc reports and dashboards, ensuring accuracy and data quality throughout the process. The Analytics team uses this data to provide actionable insights, helping the Division make informed decisions and drive strategic initiatives.

- Analyzes data, interprets trends, and results of the findings, and develops conclusions in coordination with staff;
- Develops and maintains interactive data visualization and presentation tools as a resource for all levels of staff and stakeholders using highly confidential data;
- Responds to ad hoc data requests and provides responses in an accurate, concise, and timely manner;
- Compiles and disseminates findings in formats appropriate to various users;
- Identifies appropriate areas of research based on needs assessment or direction from management;
- Utilizes different software, such as Tableau, SQL, or Excel, to create, display, and manage data findings.
- Good knowledge of: Research methods and Principles of statistics
- Experience: Writing analytical (research) reports or materials and using statistical software or spreadsheet software to perform statistical analysis
- Experience using Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience using Tableau, SQL, and Python
- Considerable experience using statistical software to perform statistical analysis.Gained by at least two (2) years of professional work experience performing statistical analysis, interpreting and communicating statistical material into information usable by a target audience; OR by earning a relevant degree focused on compiling and analyzing data and drawing conclusions.
