Join Bentham Science Publishers as a Section Editor for the journal, "Current Microwave Chemistry"
Position Overview:
We invite researchers and scientists to join us as a Section Editor (Special Issue) for the journal, "Current Microwave Chemistry", to contribute to a research area (section) most relevant to their field of expertise.
The candidates for the Section Editor position should have a proven track record of scholarly publishing and organizing special issues, and they should be able to assemble a collection of high-quality research / review articles related to their section.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a comprehensive proposal for a special issue relevant to their research section, underlining its importance and the information of prospective contributors.
- Invite senior scholarly authors with high h-index scores, preferably from technologically advanced countries, to publish articles in the special issue.
- Ensure that the contributing authors are committed to the Open Access mode of publishing and can cover the Article Processing Charges (APC).*
- Oversee manuscript submissions for adherence to the scope of the issue and the journal.
- Utilize the offered honorarium to promote the special issue within the scientific community.
*The Article Processing Charges (APC) are offered with a discount to facilitate Open Access publishing by the authors.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Ph.D. in a relevant field
• A valid Scopus ID.
• Strong networks within the research community.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with scientific publication and peer review processes.

This is a remote opportunity, offering flexibility and convenience.
How To Apply:
Interested candidates are invited to submit their CVs; list of publications, and a special issue proposal by 25th july 2024. The proposal should include the title and scope of the special issue, relevant keywords, sub-topics, and preferably, the article titles, a list of potential contributors, and article submission deadlines.
Special Instructions:
• Each author/co-author is welcome to contribute one paper to the special issue.
• Contributions must adhere to topics approved by the Editor-in-Chief.
• Manuscript submission extensions will be limited to 60 days.
