Cannon Solar is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Solar Consultant to join our growing team. In this results-oriented role, you will play a key role in educating homeowners and businesses about the benefits of solar energy, designing custom solar solutions, and driving sales.

Cannon Solar is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Solar Consultant to join our growing team. In this results-oriented role, you will play a key role in educating homeowners and businesses about the benefits of solar energy, designing custom solar solutions, and driving sales.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth consultations to assess customer needs, energy usage, and roof suitability for solar power.
- Develop customized solar panel system proposals with clear financial projections and return-on-investment (ROI) analysis.
- Explain the benefits of solar energy, including cost savings, environmental impact, and government incentives.
- Navigate the permitting process and work with contractors to ensure a smooth installation.
- Build strong relationships with clients and provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire sales process.
- Exceed sales targets and contribute to the company's growth.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest solar technologies, financing options, and industry trends.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, preferably within the renewable energy industry.
- Strong understanding of solar energy technology, system components, and installation processes.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to connect with a diverse clientele.
- Proven ability to build trust and rapport with customers in a consultative sales environment.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and solar design software (a plus).
- A strong work ethic, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record (may be required).
