Cannon Solar is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Solar Consultant to join our growing team. In this results-oriented role, you will play a key role in educating homeowners and businesses about the benefits of solar energy, designing custom solar solutions, and driving sales.
Responsibilities:
Conduct in-depth consultations to assess customer needs, energy usage, and roof suitability for solar power.
Develop customized solar panel system proposals with clear financial projections and return-on-investment (ROI) analysis.
Explain the benefits of solar energy, including cost savings, environmental impact, and government incentives.
Navigate the permitting process and work with contractors to ensure a smooth installation.
Build strong relationships with clients and provide exceptional customer service throughout the entire sales process.
Exceed sales targets and contribute to the company's growth.
Stay up-to-date on the latest solar technologies, financing options, and industry trends.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, preferably within the renewable energy industry.
Strong understanding of solar energy technology, system components, and installation processes.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to connect with a diverse clientele.
Proven ability to build trust and rapport with customers in a consultative sales environment.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and solar design software (a plus).
A strong work ethic, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
A valid driver's license and a clean driving record (may be required).
