Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant General Manager to lead our team at Los Amigos Mexican Restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, a deep understanding of restaurant operations, and the ability to drive both customer satisfaction and financial success.
Responsibilities
Oversee the daily operations of Los Amigos Mexican Restaurant, ensuring exceptional service and high-quality food standards.
Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of restaurant staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Develop and implement strategies to increase restaurant revenue, manage costs, and maximize profitability.
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
Manage inventory, ordering, and supply chain logistics to maintain stock levels and minimize waste.
Handle customer feedback and resolve issues promptly to maintain a high level of guest satisfaction.
Collaborate with the resort's management team to align restaurant goals with overall resort objectives.
Monitor and analyze financial performance, preparing reports and taking action to achieve budgeted goals.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Restaurant General Manager or similar role in a high-volume, full-service restaurant.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a diverse team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of restaurant financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
