Mex 1 Coastal Cantina is named after Mexico 1- the Mexican Federal Highway that runs the length of the Baja California Peninsula from Tijuana in the North to Cabo san Lucas at the Southern tip.
Mexico 1 is dotted with epic surf spots and authentic taco joints and cantinas.
The local cantinas serve up simple but flavorful food, memorable margaritas and ice cold beer. These establishments are often the central gathering place for a community and encourage discussion and storytelling among surfers, locals, tourists and wanderers alike.
This bona fide locale is what inspired us to create Mex 1 Coastal Cantina right here at home in South Carolina.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Restaurant Manager at Mex1 Coastal Cantina in Charleston, SC. The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring high-quality service, managing staff, handling customer inquiries and complaints, and implementing policies and procedures to maintain a safe and efficient environment.
Qualifications
Prior experience in restaurant management or a similar role
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Knowledge of industry regulations and safety standards
Ability to handle high-pressure situations and solve problems effectively
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work well in a team and motivate staff
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Food safety certification is preferred
Fun at Mex1 a must!
Salary Range: $65k-$75k
