The Restaurant Operations Supervisor will support the Restaurant Manager and Supervisors by performing all administrative duties as assigned by the Restaurant Manager. The Operations Supervisor will also support the restaurant floor when necessary.
Functional Responsibility
Supervises the day-to-day operations and assigned staff in accordance with management's direction
Leads in a constructive manner by example; demonstrates and encourages a strong work ethic and fosters an environment of trust and respect
Guides team in the proper use of assets and resources to avoid waste and ensure cost-effective operations
Monitors performance and regularly communicates with team to achieve mutual understanding, maintain level of productivity, and deliver desired results
Partners with immediate manager to determine staffing needs
Ensures employees have a safe, healthy, and rewarding work environment, provides applicable safety training and resolves/reports safety issues to management
Supports change initiatives and company decisions in an effective manner
Immediately informs management and addresses employee issues, concerns, and complaints in an objective and confidential manner
Ensures employees are trained on the policies, processes, and procedures related to functional area; maintains company and regulatory compliance during day-day-operations
Adheres to departmental GPS (Performance Management) guidelines and ensures proper GPS documentation; trains employees to do the job; identifies and makes suggestions for training needs and development opportunities
Essential Duties
Input payroll numbers which include tips and timecard sheets. Ensure accuracy before submitting to Payroll at the end of the pay period
Process Server and bartender checkouts and input on checkout spreadsheet
Create all FOH schedules: servers, bartenders, bussers, hosts and submit to Restaurant Manager for approval
Order supplies for Rustic and Pool Café, ie smallwares, produce for the bar and office supplies
Ensure all invoices are accurate and approved in a timely manner
Complete end of the month inventories for Rustic. Communicates this information to finance to assure accuracy of cost of goods reporting for menu items
Supports front and back of the house staff, working on the floor as required.
8Ensures that all safety, sanitation and preventive maintenance and other stardards are consistently utilized.

Minimum Requirements
Education and Experience
High School diploma, some college preferred
1+ years of Supervisory experience
2+ years of experience with payroll and cash handling procedures
Certificates and Licenses
Servesafe Food Handlers certificate
Servsafe ABC certificate
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Basic accounting knowledge and cash handling experience
Ability to multi-task and be highly organized
Great attention to detail
Ability to work with little supervision
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
