Retail Manager (Museum)

This role is pivotal for running the retail store inside of a well-known and prestigious museum.

Responsibilities

• The Retail Manager will be responsible for managing sales success, operational efficiency, and manpower management of the store
• Create and maintain an environment that consistently delivers a luxury sales experience to exceed sales expectations and client retention
• Executing strategies to meet daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly sales goals
• Provide individual sales goals to all employees and ensure sales goals are met
• Achieve individual sales goals and ensure the team is meeting their individual sales goals
• Improve and maintain operational efficiency for the retail store of prestigious museum
• Lead all store operations and ensure all team members are operationally sound
• Contribute to the daily operations of running a retail store and ensure store compliance with company policies and procedures
• Receive/Transfer/ Ship merchandise and contribute to the allocation and distribution of merchandise to all stores
• Lead all new hire operational training
• Run store wide payroll
• Manage supply ordering and forecasting supply needs
• Run weekly Sales and Client Reports and Follow up: Special Order Reports, Repair Reports, Wishlist Reports, Occasion Reports
• Assist with website fulfillment as directed
• Lead annual physical inventory
• Develop team members through motivating and constructive performance feedback in a timely manner through on the spot coaching and through performance reviews
• Identify team strengths and maximize the business through scheduling opportunities
• Assist with the merchandising process and contribute to the overall aesthetic vision of brand
• Maintain store cleanliness and ensure all facility needs are met
