Retail Operations Manager
Position Overview:
The Retail Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the daily operations of multiple retail locations. This role focuses on ensuring operational excellence, enhancing customer satisfaction, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The Retail Operations Manager will work closely with store managers, Retail Director, and the executive team to develop and implement strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives.

This role focuses on ensuring operational excellence, enhancing customer satisfaction, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The Retail Operations Manager will work closely with store managers, Retail Director, and the executive team to develop and implement strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership:
- Oversee the daily operations of multiple retail locations, ensuring high standards of customer service and operational efficiency.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance store performance.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement.
- Process maintenance requests from stores while managing the repairs and maintenance budget. Disseminate the information to the appropriate parties and keep an overview to ensure completion.
- Strategic Planning:
- Collaborate with the Retail Director to develop and execute long-term operational strategies.
- Lead initiatives to optimize inventory management, supply chain processes, and store logistics.
- Drive the implementation of technology solutions to improve operational processes.
- Identify opportunities to reduce costs and increase profitability.
- Team Management:
- Assist the Retail Director in building and managing a high-performing team of store managers, providing guidance, and professional development opportunities.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and implement strategies to enhance team productivity where applicable.
- Support store teams daily via troubleshooting, system compliance, transaction auditing, and overall operations support.
- Customer Experience:
- Ensure a consistent and exceptional customer experience across all retail locations.
- Implement customer service standards and training programs to enhance employee performance.
- Address and resolve customer complaints and operational issues promptly and effectively.
- Compliance and Safety:
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations, including health and safety standards.
- Implement and monitor safety protocols to create a safe working environment for employees and customers.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure adherence to operational standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in retail operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of successfully managing multi-location retail operations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships.
- Proficiency in operations management software and tools.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities. Proficiency in marketing technology platforms, analytics tools, and digital marketing channel.
