Role Overview:
The Store Sales Manager will play a critical role in driving the success of our retail location. This individual will be responsible for managing a team of three Beauty Sales Consultants, achieving sales targets, building strategic relationships with hair stylists, and ensuring the overall performance of the store. The ideal candidate will be a proven leader with a passion for sales, a deep understanding of the beauty industry, and strong management skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
- Manage, mentor, and motivate a team of three Beauty Sales Consultants, ensuring they meet individual and collective sales goals.
- Conduct regular team meetings to align on store objectives, sales strategies, and customer service excellence.
- Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance team performance.
Sales Management:
- Set and monitor sales targets for the team, ensuring that the store consistently meets or exceeds sales bonuses.
- Implement effective sales strategies and promotions to drive revenue growth.
- Monitor key sales metrics, such as customer acquisition cost (CAC) and lifetime value (LTV), to optimize performance.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, fostering loyalty and repeat business.
- Establish partnerships with local hair stylists and industry professionals to drive traffic and sales.
- Organize and participate in events to strengthen relationships with key partners.
Operational Excellence:
- Ensure the store is well-maintained, stocked, and visually appealing, adhering to She’s Happy Hair’s brand standards.
- Utilize data and analytics to make informed decisions regarding inventory, sales trends, and customer preferences.
- Handle conflict resolution and customer complaints, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
Strategic Planning:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to drive store performance, align with company goals, and capitalize on market opportunities.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance store efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- Proven experience managing a retail team, with at least three direct reports, preferably in the beauty or fashion industry.
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong background in customer relationship management and partnership development.
Leadership Skills:
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing sales team.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, with a track record of successfully resolving conflicts and improving team dynamics.
Sales Acumen:
- Deep understanding of sales processes, customer acquisition, and revenue optimization.
- Experience with data-driven decision-making and the ability to leverage sales metrics to improve performance.
Relationship Building:
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and industry professionals.
- Established network in the beauty or hair industry is a plus.
Communication:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with team members, customers, and partners.
- Strong presentation skills, with the ability to lead meetings and training sessions.
