Revenue Integrity Specialist

As our Revenue Integrity Specialist, you will be responsible for managing work ques, performing account reviews for accuracy and appropriate charge capture within multiple software applications, reviewing ad hoc request in a timely manner, and communicating to stakeholders. Every day you will work in the revenue integrity department, working cross functionally with the billing and follow up teams. To thrive in this role, you must have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. The specialist should have experience in a role that required strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills and should have demonstrated the ability to work independently and under pressure with minimal supervision. The specialist will need outstanding time management skills and the ability to simultaneously manage multiple tasks while remaining self-directed. The specialist should have experience using word processing, spreadsheet, database, internet and e-mail, with demonstrated typing proficiency. The specialist should have experience performing MS Excel Vlookups, Pivot Tables and manipulating large data sets.

Please be advised, this is a full-time remote role. The specialist will work Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pm from their respective time zone. AAPC/AHIMA Credentials (CCA, CPC, CCS, RHIT, RHIA) are preferred but not required. The specialist must be up to date on all vaccines (including but not limited to annual flu shot). We can help you with your vaccines at no cost to you. The specialist will need to pass a background check and drug screen. 

Here is what you will experience working as a Revenue Integrity Specialist:

• Managing time effectively, performing tasks accurately and meeting set timelines
• Updating spreadsheets and data systems with updated content to maintain accurate information, when identifying any data defects, escalates to manager or team lead as necessary
• Completing report consolidation and automation and prepares various reporting packages
• Assisting in problem solving and troubleshooting issues to ensure appropriate data and/or account workflow
• Responding to ad-hoc requests and developing potential solutions to present to manager or team lead in a timely manner
• Late charge entry into multiple systems
• Responding timely to department requests
• Working with departments on potential solutions to charging problems
• Serving as a liaison for training and subject matter expertise on the utilization of R1 RCM workflow technologies
• Working accounts in billing work queues
• Running reports for appropriate charge capture
• Attending meetings/educational sessions to maintain knowledge base, maintaining credentials as applicable
• Reconciling account balances, posting adjustments, performing payor code product changes, as needed
• Researching charging/billing questions for new and existing services to ensure appropriate revenue recognition
• Running and extracting accurate reports from software tools

For this US-based position, the base pay range is $15.66 - $23.45 per hour . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
