As Georgia’s public safety net, DBHDD operates six field offices and five hospitals throughout the state within three program areas: behavioral health, developmental disabilities and hospital services. The main office for DBHDD is located in downtown Atlanta. Job Description Job Title: Risk Manager- East Central Regional Hospital Pay Grade: L Job Summary:
Under supervision of Quality, Risk, and Incidents Director, manages Hospital Safety and Security Risks
Oversees Incident Management Process at DBHDD Hospital
Promotes and maintains a safe working environment for individuals and staff
Supervises Incident Manager
Under Supervision, manages incident related Corrective Action Plans
Establishes appropriate structures and processes in relation to risk reporting & mitigation, incident management and Health & Safety within the hospital
Proactively assesses for hospital risk related issues and reports findings to hospital leadership
Conducts risk assessments, for example FMEAs
In collaboration with the Quality Improvement Manager and hospital leaders, develops performance improvement initiatives to improve patient and staff safety and quality of care
Position requires up to 10% travel within state hospital system
Actively Participate in assigned Hospital System Meetings
Other duties as assigned Preferred Qualifications Master’s in healthcare management or related field
Experience in Microsoft Office programs
