We are looking for a Registered Nurse (RN) with specialized knowledge in Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) to join our ICU team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with a licensed ECMO physician to manage the system and address the patient's clinical needs. This collaborative approach will involve working with other physicians, Respiratory Care Practitioners, Perfusionists, and other healthcare professionals to create and execute individual care plans. Your expertise in operating the ECMO machine will be crucial in providing outstanding care and achieving positive outcomes for our critically ill patients.

Qualifications
Education & Experience
High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required
Bachelor's Degree or higher in a healthcare-related field OR maintains national certification related to nursing specialty required
Healthcare-related degrees may be subject to approval by the ACNO/CNO group prior to approval
Certificate of Completion of ECMO Management training course with documented necessary skills as an ECMO Specialist that is validated by the Medical Director required
Licenses and Certifications
RN - Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of California required
BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required
NATIONAL - National Certification related to specialty and applicable to role (if qualifying with this option) required
One of the following is preferred
CCRN - Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse
CES-A - Adult Certified ECMO Specialist
